Principles of application
Saletrosan® 30 is applied as a basal and side dress fertilizer especially in spring. It can be applied while sowing since the fertilizer contains small amount of nitrate nitrogen and lots of Sulphur, that stimulate the growth of plants root system at the early stages of development due to nitrogen phosphorus and Sulphur balanced intake. As the basal fertilizer it can be applied to all crops with compulsory soil mixing. The optimal time of Saletrosan® 30 application on winter cereal and rapeseed is period of soil workability when moisture is sufficient, air and soil temperatures are higher and nutrient losses are minimal. Side dressing over frozen soils and ammonia evaporation in later stages at the high temperatures lead to increasing of nitrate nitrogen and Sulphur losses due to leaching. Mixing fertilizers with soil, harrowing and disk drill prevent increasing of nitrogen losses at the time of side dressing.
Side dressing the rapeseed, mustard, cabbage, cauliflower, bean, potato, onion, garlic, horse radish with Saletrosan® 30 is very effective. This fertilizer is also suitable for perennial grasses, fruit and berry crops.
Saletrosan® 30 can be mixed with other dry fertilizers prior to application because of its high hygroscopicity which is linked to ammonium nitrate in its composition.
